It was in a lovely location away from the hustle and bustle of Aswan. Puck and her team at the guest house were very attentive and friendly. Abina was always there for us helping us out with all we needed for our room. Yasser made the mistake of delicious bread for breakfast. On our first morning we arrived early of the ferry crossing and wandered through the little lane ways assisted by the locals … it was so heartwarming and then we met Yasser and he made us feel instantly at home . The smell of the freshly baked bread was just so so nice . He made us feel instantly at right at home . Later that evening we met Puck again so welcoming and friendly. Loved our stay in a lovely comfortable cheery room looking out onto a lovely tropical garden..

Breakfast was a delightful experience every morning, with fresh and delicious options that gave us the perfect start to our day. We were also pleasantly surprised by the possibility of having dinner at the property, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The food was authentic, flavorful, and clearly made with care. A special mention must go to Mahmoud, who was always there to assist us with anything we needed. What truly set him apart was that he wasn’t just a businessman—he was a local who genuinely loves his hometown, and that passion was reflected in every interaction. Unlike many others, he never tried to push excursions or sell us anything. Instead, he adapted to what we wanted, offering sincere recommendations and making sure we had the best possible experience. I absolutely enjoyed my stay at Dolty Kato Nubian House. Located at the very heart of the Nubian village, this hotel has exceeded my expectations by all metrics. The staff was very attentive to my needs (special shout-out to Ms. Somaya at the reception and Mr. Sameer the manager) and was reachable 7/24. If you want a tour to Abu Simbel, or an authentic massage, or a boat trip, they will arrange it for you in a few minutes. The view from the rooms are amazing, they are right on the Nile. To sip my morning coffee while watching the boats on the Nile was a great experience. The food they serve was also quite authentic (Nubian cuisine) and tasty. Overall, it was worth the every penny I spent there.

One of the best hotels in Aswan specially after renovation. The rooms are very clean and the chalets are very nice and there location is amazing over the Nile directly. The stuff are very helpful. The breakfast buffet is beyond .Highly recommended

David and his wife are incredibly helpful when it comes to traveling Aswan on a budget. They organized tours for me during the entirety of my stay and at the cheapest price possible. You cannot find these deals anywhere else and they were very nice about everything. I'd recommend this place to any budget traveler.

Easy to get to location just off from the south port for the elephantine ferry as it is the building following your first left. Ferry was only 10egp for visitors and was very easy for accessing the east bank. The room was spacious with two comfortable beds and a very efficient air conditioning system. Hosts were very friendly and helpful for booking an affordable trip to Abu simbel. Definitely would stay at this venue again.

Perfect location. It’s beautiful, the room is big, the balcony is super lovely, the rooftop is amazing, their prices for food and tours are really affordable and cheap. I loved how peaceful it was. I was just chilling in the balcony looking at the Nile and felt so incredibly good. Thanks for eveything!
