We had an amazing stay at Ruta de los volcanes. The rooms were clean and with hot water. The location is perfect for the Cotopaxi National Park. Darwin was such a wonderful host. He helped us planning our hike in the park and even helped us with our planning for the next days in Ecuador. Even though one night we were the only guests, the fireplace was lit for us and we got the best meal we had eaten in weeks.

We had a really nice stay here and Aracely was the most amazing welcoming host. The facilities are great too. We did the Cotopaxi hike to the refuge which was booked through Aracely and it was fantastic and great value for money

A wonderful garden like base. it’s a real privilege to stay in Diego and Janeth‘s lovely casa. Cosy and spacious, spotlessly clean, outstanding breakfast and free tea around the lovely fireplace to return to in the evenings. Full of inspirational pictures from Diego’s climbing business and plenty of advice of how to enjoy the nearby area.

A great hotel. The rooms are very modern and large, our room even had a jacuzzi. The shower has enough water pressure and hot water. The beds are comfortable and long enough. The staff is very nice and helpful and speaks perfect English. Everything very clean. The breakfast is very fine, with eggs, bread, fruit, flakes and yoghurt.

Amazing lodge with perfect views to the Cotopaxi. It‘s approx 5 km from the entrance to the National Park. The lodge is managed very well with a consistent delivery on a high level. Great comfortable rooms with a nice oven that is being put on at 4 pm for you in your room. Great restaurant offering a changing menu of great taste and quality. Very friendly and helpful employees. Clear „go“.

Frank is an amazing host! He helped us so much with planning of the trips around. ( El Corazón, Iliniza Norte, Cotopaxi....) Chaupi was our base camp for the acclimatization in mountains in Ecuador. We spent in Frank hostal amazing one week and I can definitely say, that it was the best decision stay in Ilinizas Wasi. You can use a kitchen, pat their dog and cats, use the washing machine. Frank even helped us with booking a guide for Cotopaxi and he recommended us great guide Marco. ( From 8 groups we were the only ones, who reached the summit.) I recommend this place 10/10.!
