Very comfortable stay! Our room on the top floor has a beautiful view and a private balcony. The room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable, we slept in later than usual. This location was perfect to enjoy the town, next to a grocery store, and yet very quiet. We were especially impressed with the staff, both front desk and breakfast servers. They were very helpful and cheerful - the breakfast buffet was plentiful, varied and the staff was practically running to keep everything fully stocked. I can highly recommend this hotel!

What we liked the most about was the kindness of the people who worked there. They were always so polite, especially the lady serving the breakfast. It was my husband’s birthday, they noticed it and reserved a table for us, lighted a candle and gave us a sparkling wine.

We stayed 3 nights and the very helpful and friendly host provided a free bus and cable car pass. We used the bus pass to travel to Garmish and Zugspitze. We used the Kranzburg chair lift and walk back to Mittenwald through the forest and Lautersee lake and waterfall. It was glorious and a wonderful way to spend a sunny afternoon. We stopped for a beer by the lake side. We ate a delicious Oxe Rump Steak and Burger meals at Grillstube in the village which was also very reasonably priced. The apartment is about 13 mins easy walk from railway station and old town and facilities. It is about 10 mins walk to the Leutascher Geisterklamm George which is well worth a visit. Brochures were available at No 38.

We absolutely loved our stay here, the facilities were clean and we felt right at home. The host was very friendly and helpful, a rela pleasure to deal with. Located right in the heart of Wallgau the views feel so surreal.

All the staff provided a service with a smile. The host was really kind, friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel is perfect as it is close to the restaurants, tourist information centre and St Jakob's church. There is a bus stop 2 min away.
