We spent an amazing week in Axiothea! The best hotel in Pafos! Very clean room, comfortable bed, big closet and beautiful sea view. We couldn’t get enough of the view, both from the balcony and the breakfast area. We recommend to upgrade to a sea view room, it is totally worth it! We also had a fridge and a kettle. The cleaning service was provided daily with changing towels (not daily but enough). The hotel parking is free of charge, you don't need a reservation - if there is spot available, you can park there. The parking also has a beautiful view :) The staff was always friendly! The breakfast was also really good, especially the fruit and the variety of homemade jams. The really cool thing was getting a bottle of water as a welcoming gift which you could refill anytime you want to from the dispenser located in a breakfast room. We were grateful to have a possibility of free water, especially due to the hot weather. We bought additional bottle for just 1€. The location is also perfect for more active visitors. The hotel on its own is really calm though so I guess a little better than the typical resorts. It is right in the old town filled with amazing restaurants. It is a bit further to the sea but we had a rental car which is highly recommended to have while visiting Cyprus. We had a really great stay there and would definitely come back one day!

It was all fantastic, the staff was great the food was also very nice. We got the half board package which was great so we could explore the town during the day after having breakfast and come back not having to look for a restaurant for dinner. We enjoyed a lot, the facilities were great. I can really recommend this place specially the rooms facing the sea, they are located in a very nice bay. Parking was also great, the bar was nice and prices were even slightly lower than the average on Paphos,

Great property close to the old town and 8 minutes walk to intercity bus station. Check in instructions prior to our stay were clear and directions made it super easy to find. Host was very responsive and polite, would definitely recommend.

Everything was perfect. Location is great as you have access to shops, restaurants, old town, harbour and beach by walking distance. Sandy beach is accessible by local bus which is 1.50€ or 5euro for all day ticket. (bus 615 to venus beach or coral bay). Pool is great too actually no one was using it apart of us so we actually enjoyed. Great landlord meet us upon arrival and took us to the nearest grocery shop so we know for next time where to do shopping. Highly recommend 👍

Wow! I live in Cyprus 4 years and I was so happy to discover true magic place on this island! I can't find proper words to describe how great owners are, the house is soooo cozy and you feel that you came at home not to hotel, airbnb or whatsoever. Guys, if you looking for something special - yes, Despina's retreat place its unique experience with so positive and kind energy!!! Welcome drinks, breakfast are much better than in 5 stars hotel because its homemade with love. The house is amazingly clean, the bed is comfy, in the bathroom you can find everything what you need. I love banana shampoo. 😅 Outside is fantastic place to see the mountains, big swimming pool and of course, soooo lovely dogs and cats. There is also beautiful road to walk in the morning and greet the sun! I want to come back during Christmas time, pleeeeaaase! 😅

We loved staying at Santa Barbara, and can’t wait to come back again next year. The design and the aesthetic of the villa was stunning. Everything was immaculate and well presented. Cleanliness was a big deal for me and the girls, and everything really was spotless. The location as well was perfect for us… we were so close to the water, but also not far away from some of the more traditional touristy stuff.

We visited the hotel in Feb 2024. Killer location for checking out the Paphos scene. Breakfast was decent, nothing fancy but got the job done. And can we talk about the price? Totally budget-friendly (for off-season). Room was spotless, plus snagged a cool view of the pool. Super chill vibes since it wasn't packed – some nights you could hear music and karaoke coming from the bar, but otherwise slept like a baby without any noise hassle.

The staff (Nicholas and the lady who dealt with us on our last day….sorry I didn’t get your name) couldn’t have been more helpful and nothing was a problem. Great location, easy walking to Lidl, restaurants, Tombs of the Kings, town and the harbour. Bus stop to coral bay just over the road. Apartment was a good size with cooking facilities, making for a more budget holiday if you don’t want to eat in restaurants every day. Pool area was great too.

The apartment was so lovely, very spacious and the 3 bathrooms was ideal for our family. The pools including jacuzzis was amazing. Everything was very clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly and helpful and for is the location was perfect, close enough to walk to many bars and restaurants and the harbour and beaches (approx 20mins) lovely restaurant just outside the complex and 2 shops for all essentials. We had a fantastic stay here and would highly recommend 😁
