Our stay at the Amazilia Guesthouse came close to perfection. The staff was friendly, the accomodation perfectly clean, with a working A/C and ample space to put your things. But it was the little things which really stood out in comparison to other accomodations in Costa Rica: the good toilet paper, as opposed to the one where you can see through. A hot shower with sufficient water pressure. A non-leaking shower cabin. Good light and a good mirror in the bathroom. A well-working and clean dustbin, where you don´t have to worry about your personal safety when putting the used toilet paper in. We even got a packed breakfast as we had to leave early on our last day. The location requires a car and is quite remote, but perfect if you plan accordingly and want to visit the (equally remote) Rincon de la Vieja National Park. All in all, highly recommended!

This place is perfect! Best hostel in Central America! Everything is incredibly clean, rooms have good a/c and beds. There are 4 bathrooms which are absolutely spotless (and they have shampoo & shower gel in showers). The best equipped kitchen I ever saw in a hostel (so many pans/pots, free coffee/tea, oil/salt/oats etc.) - again, spotless Really nice areas to chill in, enough space so you can always find some peace. There is even a shelf full of mosquito repellents to use! Owners/staff are also all incredibly kind. Oh they also have a garage for your car, and the price for the whole stay feels cheap compared to other hostels in Liberia, which are nowhere nesr as good. Cannot recommend enough!!

On a family farm this was a lovely cabin. Spacious room with a good sized comfortable bed and nice bathroom. They have a lovely decking area at the front to watch the birds. There is no noise at night. The family made us very welcome. The cabin is on the road to the national park and very close to La Leona waterfall, a very popular tourist attraction. It is ideal for visits to both, but especially the National park, Rincon de La Vieja .

Great apartment in Liberia. We walked from the apartment into the city, took about 15 mins and was quite straightforward. The unit we stayed in did have a garage so that was perfect.

Very good location next to the market and the bus terminals. Very friendly helpful owner and staff. Clean comfortable and quiet. Lovely courtyard where we met fellow travellers. Just nice. Jesus can arrange taxis and tours if need be.

Very clean my phone was broken and could not order food not good at least print one menu, elevator way to slow everybody was kinda up set, so I take the steps, 50 Years ago I worked the Conrad Hilton in Chicago il as a bellman, and what ever a guest wanted I got for them Even if I went to The store myself to get it, at the time biggest hotel in the world I was 16 and worked that job 2 years, and learned how to deal with people, my service was the best, and the time I did not know this

From beginning to end, this is the ideal budget accommodations. Kind, considerate people at check in, including having the English speaking nephew on the phone while the lovely gentleman helped us check in with our terrible Spanish. Quiet as soon as quiet time. We got there during the Superbowl and it was full of people enjoying themselves and then.... silence!

Exceptional! Good location a few blocks from the main square. Staff are amazing. Guillermo speaks perfect English, is a font of knowledge and always available, on the phone after hours if not in person. Hostel was sooo well equipped, with breakfast stuff, tea, coffee, super well-equipped kitchen, large fridge, shopping bags, spare insect repellent. Rooms small but comfortable with excellent aircon. Bathrooms spotlessly clean. Plenty of communal areas.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They let me drop off my luggage several hours before check-in. The hotel is budget friendly and very clean. I will definitelty be staying there again.
