An Absolutely Perfect 5-Star Stay at Lumina Hotel! Our stay at the Zhangjiajie Lumina Hotel was nothing short of exceptional, easily deserving a 5-star rating. Every aspect exceeded our expectations. Location: Unbeatable Convenience The hotel's location is its greatest asset for any traveler. It is situated just a few minutes' walk from the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park's East Gate. This allowed us to be the first wave of visitors in the morning, beating the crowds. Furthermore, being close to the bus station made arriving from and departing to other cities incredibly easy and stress-free. You truly cannot find a more strategically convenient place to stay for exploring the park. Service: Warm, Professional, and Attentive From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond. They are not only professional but also genuinely warm and friendly. They helped us with maps, gave us great tips for our hiking routes, and were always ready with a smile. Their excellent service made us feel truly welcomed and cared for throughout our trip. Breakfast: Delicious and Varied The breakfast buffet was fantastic. It offered a wide selection of both Chinese and Western options, all of which were delicious and freshly prepared. It was the perfect fuel to start our long days of hiking. We looked forward to it every morning! Cleanliness: Impeccably Maintained The entire hotel, from the spacious lobby to our room, was spotlessly clean. The housekeeping team does an outstanding job. Our room was cleaned to the highest standard every day, which provided a very comfortable and hygienic environment to return to after a day of adventure. We cannot recommend the Lumina Hotel highly enough. It was the perfect base for our Zhangjiajie adventure, and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit.

What a beautiful place! The first thing I said to my wife when we got into the room was, “I want my bedroom to be like this!” It is so beautifully decorated and well-kept. We arrived extremely early and were allowed to check-in early and have breakfast (cannot say that this is the norm, and should be an expectation, this is just our experience). The bath is lovely and the water-pressure from the shower is amazing…..possibly the best shower I’ve had! We appreciated how close it is to the National Park and the Grand Canyon. The staff were very helpful and so welcoming. We managed to book all of our excursions through the hotel and all of our questions (of which there were many!) were answered. If I were to revisit Zhangjiajie, I would stay at this hotel without hesitation. Oh, and a special thank you for collecting us from the train station!

First of all, I want to talk about Jenny. She is a wonderful host. She bought my tickets for Zhangjiajie National Forest and Tianmen Mountain before I arrived. She told me where to visit on the map. She helped me with everything. She was my biggest luck in Zhangjiajie. She even opened her kitchen for me since I couldn't eat Chinese food :) She made Turkish food for them and we ate it together with great pleasure. Thank you for everything Jenny. The location of the hotel is great and it is 5-10 minutes walking distance to everywhere. The hotel and the rooms are very clean, modern and comfortable. There is hot water 24 hours a day and the room was very warm. It was one of the best places I stayed during my world tour. Hope to see you again

Loved everything, location is close to the park gate. Stuff was friendly and open to communication, ready to help. The manager helped us to book tickets in advance with little discount. She made the perfect route for a two days trip, so we didn’t have to line for hours. Thanks❤️

The hotel has a perfect location nestled in the National Forest Park. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - especially Xiaoxiao and her little brother - they helped us navigate common tourist attractions, arranged tickets and provided transport. The pool and scenery is definitely a highlight of this hotel as are the comfortable rooms! Very clean. Would highly recommend!

Good Location. Room was very clean. Boutique type of hotel with very nice and relaxed atmosphere. Girl at the desk Anine, was extremely friendly and helpful. She has organised for me 5 days of activities in all must to see places around Zhangjiajie. And everything was done by Chinese-English handheld translator. I couldn’t have asked for more helpful and friendly staff at any hotel. Love the place and highly recommend to anyone traveling on the budget.

Had an excellent time during my stay. The rooms were very clean and modern. Staff is also friendly and helpful, as they provided me explanation on how to make my way through Tianmenshan and Zhangjiajie National Park (Avatar Mountains) and I was picked up and dropped of at the airport. They also provided delicious food. The location is ideal, as it’s close to both the airport and Tianmenshan. Would definitely stay here again. (The quality of the photos is not so good as I took a video, but Booking won’t let me upload this)
