Everything. We wanted to stay in such a unique and historical house. My friend and I love history particularly old buildings,libraries, churches, towers and castles. The room was nice; although not what I expected (like new age hotels). But the fact that it was right in the center of the old town (stone paved roads and classic restaurants), near a bridge on the river Aare, and the schloss; it offers great mix of old town vibes and near by you could find modern restaurants and supermarkets. Unfortunately the day I stayed here was raining; we wished to have visited this place during a sunny day. Right near the hotel is a city square (stone-paved) with a fountain in the middle; and a view (and stairs) of the schloss. The hotel itself is in a great condition, despite being an old but very beautiful building. The stairs, windows and the room itself will give you a good vibe.
