The accommodation was clean, cozy and had everything we needed. The owner, Markus, and his staff went above and beyond what is usual to make sure we had a wonderful stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We stayed a week to attend the Euros 25 Wales games in St Gallen, and also to explore the town and the area. Markus was very helpful in suggesting local attractions and interesting places to visit and enhanced our holiday considerably by passing on his local knowledge. This accommodation is not the "poshest", as it has shared facilities, and you have to be prepared to walk up and down stairs as there is no lift, but this is more than made up for, with the warmth of the welcome, the high standards of cleanliness and service by the staff, and the location (an easy walk or short bus journey into St Gallen old town). It is excellent value for money. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to return again. We are very happy to recommend it to others.

A very centrally-located apartment converted into a 5-bed hostel. I had the whole place to myself - so it was more like renting my own place rather than staying in a hostel! The place is fully equipped for an easy, comfortable stay. Everything was spotlessly clean.

Location was excellent, bus stop right at corner and walking distance to train station. Michael is an excellent host, I asked for extra pillow and I got one. Everything you would need for a comfortable stay was provided. The pantry was well stocked with basic cooking stuff, In the washroom are thick towels, a hair dryer, first aid kit and sewing kit. Our unit had microwave, fridge, oven, cutleries, kettle, a table and chairs, drying rack, etc. They even provide umbrellas and hiking poles! Very good use of space, washroom was modern and spacious enough. There's a washer/dryer in the building which can be used for small fee. Some rooms still being renovated, can house up to 25 guests when finished so can accommodate big groups.
