Christoph’s warm hug and hospitality is exactly what you need after the hike up to the dormitories. Make no mistake, it is an uphill climb, make sure your heart can take it. If you have heavy bags, please take the last funicular up to Allmendhubel from Mürren before 5pm. We had no regrets, Christophe received us right at the door and brought us warm snacks when we reached. Excellent service, dormitories were spacious and comfortable for our needs, you may leave your luggage there. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay at Studio Frangio. The host Tony went out of his way to make us feel comfortable. After staying in multiple Airbnb's and small lodges across the world, it was a refreshing change to experience some great hospitality.

I absolutely LOVED this hostel. It's just a beautiful as the photos show. The character of the heritage building is lovely. It oozes with the feeling of a secluded summer lodge, yet is close enough to interlaken to get to everything easily. The staff were kind, helpful and welcoming. They provided me gluten free buns for breakfast.

Our 4-day stay here was absolutely wonderful — it truly felt like home. The house is cozy and even more beautiful in person than in the photos. The view from the house is breathtaking, and we loved every moment of our time in Wengen. The kitchen is fully equipped, and the location is perfect with a Coop nearby and the railway station just a short walk away.

Had the most amazing view over the mountains - highly recommended to take a mountain view room. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and with plenty of storage space. The staff is super welcoming and helpful. Location is also ideal imo, less noisy and crowded than central Grindelwald but only a 5min walk from it.

Awesome views from our room. Fantastic breakfast, delicious cakes baked by the owner of the guesthouse. Very clean. Wonderful owners who help us dry our wet coats and shoes when we arrived in the rain. Location is walking station to Grindelwald Cable car to take to First.

ideal location, at bus turnaround point with guest card free travel into Grindelwald. View from balcony of North Face of the Eiger and a sun trap in the afternoons. The kitchen had all you would need, beds very comfortable,everywhere very clean. Very quiet location except when next door played the alpine horn a couple of times, but added to the atmosphere of the place.
