I like the fact that the room is 8 minutes walk from the train station, the surrounding is quiet. There are lots of shops around where you could go feed your eyes or shop if you like. There are also bars around if you want to go sit out for a drink. David indeed was exceptionally nice to us, and we look forward to going back there...And it was super cheap for such a beautiful room, and it's surrounding as well. The stay was fantastic! The room, the facilities and to top it all ‘the view’ was absolutely fantastic! We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Some things folks can keep in mind is check with the host in how to enter the building beforehand otherwise this can be slightly confusing. All things otherwise was absolutely good!

Very friendly host and interesting conversations. The plan was to stay for one night but they had so cute goats outside that our son just adored so we stayed a second night. If our Interrail pass had not expired soon and we needed to go back to Sweden we would have stayed another night. Churwalden has the longest rodelbahn in Switzerland. Don't miss that on your stay which is a 15 minute walk from the accommodation. I can also recommend a hike up on the mountain Fulenberg above the rodelbahn if you are trying out the rodelbahn and you will save your knees a little bit on the way down.

Great location, it's possible to reach Casa Crap by public transport from Zurich airport. It's also on a hiking route. The village is really quiet, so a good nights sleep should be guaranteed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Kitchen was fully equipped and coffee from the coffee machine was excellent!
