I had a fantastic experience during my two-night stay at The Dorothy Motel. As a first-time motel guest, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and the quality of amenities provided. Perfect location within Banff, centrally located to main points of interest. Room very comfortable and well provisioned. Parking a reasonable rate (unlike others nearby). Although rated as a 3 star, this was a far better experience for us than previous visits to 4 and 5 star locations

Good hostel with an awesome views from the shared space, it was awesome to have dinner watching sunset over the mountains. I stayed a few times at this hostel during my trip to the Rockies. Coffee available at reception for $2. Strong wi-fi, comfy beds. Kitchen is open till 10 pm. You can go to Banff for $6 on a local bus, the stop is in 50 meters. Location is good for trail running or hiking as many routes start from the city centre nearby the hostel
