A dream place to stay! The room up the hill was perfect, in the middle of the forrest, with monkeys around. The breakfast was delicius and the owner really friendly. Would stay again!

Great location near beach. We were there Tuesday- Friday and weren’t disturbed by any noise from nearby bars , but maybe different on weekends. Earplugs are supplied though. Room was a good size, bed comfortable and shower good. Breakfast was great, something different each day, it is served to you at your table. The tapioca omelette is really good,. There are a number of courses., all very good. Coffee was good as well. Air conditioning very good. Room cleaning efficient. Owners friendly and helpful. It is one of the best value pousadas I have stayed in Brazil.

Very nice experience in Alter do Chão! A small wooden structure with comfy bed including AC and fridge for an enjoyable camping experience in the center of Alter de Chão. The "bathroom" is outdoor but very nice and completely private. Ane was great at helping with everything and recommendations for anything for our stay :)
