Our hosts made us feel a part of the family. We even received a courtesy call once we'd checked out, advising us of a road closure due an accident ahead of us and to take an alternate route. Our bed was sooo comfortable too. 😴

Welcoming, easy parking, very clean. Hot shower, comfortable bed. We stayed 2 nights & were pleasantly surprised to return to a beautifully made bed , clean towels. Vacuumed floor etc. room had all things one might want (TV, cutlery, kettle etc). Will definitely stay here again 😃

The rooms were cleaner than some five star hotels I have stayed at. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Walking distance to IGA and petrol station. The pool was perfect for a hot day. Will definitely stay again when in Mackay.

The service was out of this world. Our hostess went out of her way to make sure that we were comfortable. Sal and Al did an amazing job by making sure we had a great time. The rooms were amazing for the price. If I could give 6 out of 5 stars, I would!

Cool Palms Motel is a 5-minute drive from Caneland Central shopping centre and a 6-minute drive from Mackay city centre. It is an 11-minute drive from Mackay Airport.

Great space, lovely & clean. Decent sized bathroom with ample storage. Fully equipped kitchen wth tons of cupboard space (fridge/freezer, microwave, electric frypan, 2 hob plug in cooktop which lives in the cupboard when not in use, pots, bowls, cooking utensils & all the crockery). Seating for 6 at the table, comfortable couch in lounge area, & most importantly...super comfy beds 😊 Great pool & outdoor area. Highly recommend & will definitely book again when we're back in Mackay
