The place was lovely, well set up and organised. It was private and peaceful. The breakfast included was a lovely touch. We arrived a bit late but the owner was very thoughtful and accommodating (even leaving the light on so we could find where we were staying with ease) enjoyed our breakfast outside listening to birds singing around us. The best place we’ve stayed in our week of travelling around! Would highly recommend Bluegrass

My wife and I visited Sweet Retreat as a base to visit the Southern Great Barrier Reef whilst we were up in Bundaberg. The home is in a beautiful setting with amazing sunsets over the cane fields and loads of kangaroos hopping about at dawn and dusk. At night we loved lighting the fire and watching the stars. Louise was a fantastic host, who gave us lots of tips about Bundaberg, kept the home very clean and even gave us some fresh lemonade made from fruit from the garden.

The 2 bedrooms appartement was perfect for us (1 couple+ 1 solo), all facilities needed and more. Loved the patio with hanging line for clothes, the heater in the bathroom and all small details making us feeling so welcomed. We stayed in Bundaberg to go explore Lady Musgrave Island and could not have a best stay.

Location was great, nice and close to food and fuel. Nice and quiet location. Great Air Conditioning, Staff were great and friendly. Room was very clean and had everything i needed The free bottle of milk for coffees were great
