I recommend dinner at the hotel restaurant: very tasty traditional food Well located as a starting point for discovering the city, its churches but also other tourist spots (need a car) such as: Innsbruck and surroundings, Lake Achensee, Swarovski Kristallwelten in Wattens, the Krimml waterfall, a bit of Bavaria....

The hotel's location is great, Swarovski Kristallwelten is basically next door. With the Mobility card provided by the staff, we could use the public transportation even to Innsbruck while the car was in the parking garage at the hotel. We especially liked the floor heating in the bathroom, because it warmed us up after a chilly day.

The room had a very comfortable bed and was very modern and well equipped, having an electric kettle, fridge, closet, etc. In the bathroom there is a nice electric drying rack/radiator and the shower is very large and comfortable. The location is great, only a 15 minute walk from the center of Maurach, where there is an MPREIS, a pharmacy and a SPAR, and about 20 minutes from the Rofan Seilbahn talstation. There's also a bus stop very close by, where there are hourly buses in each direction.
