A truly wonderful place to stay. Our room was airy, clean , plainly but comfortably furnished, the bed was equally spacious and comfortable, the bathroom large and spotless. The guest rooms are in a quiet location, part of the winery buildings, overseeing a tranquil yard with flowers and vines, this is the perfect place to relax, with excellent access to hiking trails and only 5 minutes by car to Eisenstadt. The proprietor / winery owner was very friendly and helpful. In the lounge/breakfast room, a selection of the winery's wines and brandy awaits for tasting, by the glass, extremely reasonably priced! We will definitely come back to Weingut Tinhof in our next visit in Eisenstadt. Much recommended.

The apartment is placed in a typical house in a side road of the Main Street of the village, which means very central but very little traffic. At the corner of the block is a little cafe where the locals meet in the morning and chat. In the same street is a big play ground, so the location is also perfect for children. The apartment is equipped like a hotel room, so what you would expect in a hotel you will find there as well: no need to bring towels, shampoo, slippers,... also in the kitchen: everything is there - all I brought along was a loaf of bread and some butter and I had all I needed for breakfast for the whole week! Beverages and snacks are supplied and can be bought.
