The breakfast is amazing. It has everything you would like to have in the morning before going skiing or hiking. Also, the sauna is fantastic with a great view of the valley. There are even some relax chairs both outside and inside after the sauna. I highly recommend the hotel.

Communication with the host was great, even our trip was very short and last minute, she was incredibly accommodating, ensuring every aspect of our stay was perfect. She had a lot of expert tips ready (thank you for pointing out the village bakery close by, we loved it!). The apartment is located in an amazing building (a former grand hotel with a long tradition), with a n impressive lobby. The apartment looks newly renovated and is very cozy, it has a small kitchen, enough to prepare small dishes. Bad Gastein is in the middle of a stunning skiing area and is easy reachable (we came by train, the train station is a short walk away from the apartment). If you're planning a visit to Bad Gastein, this apartment is a fantastic choice for a comfortable, stylish, and convenient stay.

The location is ideal for hiking, and I enjoyed the view from the balcony. The apartment is located near a road, but it is not very noisy. I received the access information well in advance and appreciated the handling of the GasteinCard, which we used to purchase a cable car ticket.
