Podenhaus is a charming and luxurious residence that makes you feel like you are being entertained by nobles. The host was very friendly and is rightly proud of this masterpiece. Our apartment was designed and furnished to perfection, and it was impeccably clean and comfortable. The kitchen had everything that we needed. Our room featured some stunning views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains as well as the charming village of Bad Aussee. My wife and I were sad that we could not stay longer. A wonderful experience in every way.

We had everything we needed in the apartment, plus an amazing view from the terrace ! Swimming pool was a nice addition to the facility. It was very kind of the host who had prepared a surprise for us. If you’re travelling by car, the property is close to Hallstatt but the region is not crowded and you don’t struggle where to park. I would recommend to stay here if you want to avoid crowds and noise and enjoy the idyllic atmosphere .

Good location at north end of the Hallstat see. Free parking and easy to auto check-in by following the touch panel instruction next to the front door of the building. The rooms are new, clean, air conditioned. I highly recommended here if you travel by car. Just 1 minute walking distance to the lake shore and you can watch and timelapse the runrise there.
