The room was comfy, just enough for the couple which spend just few days. The breakfast was delicious and big enough to fill your belly till the lunch. What I appreciated the most is staff. Communication with them was great, really quick and efficient. Ha and Vinh also arranged the bus to Hanoi and provide plenty information what to do, not just only in Mai Chau but also in Hanoi.

The location and view are just unbeatable, with a gorgeous view of the rice fields and mountains and away from the hustle of any village or town. The staff is very nice and helpful, the rooms spotless and comfortable, and the food (including the coffee) is UNREAL! Make sure to try the vegetable stuffed tofu as it was one of the best dishes I've had in a very long time. It's definitely the perfect place to recharge and relax, with a slightly social atmosphere if you feel like chatting to people. I spent 5 nights but could have easily been there for longer. Can't wait to be back!

Set in Mai Chau in the Hoa Binh region, Mai Chau Valley Retreat features accommodation with access to spa facilities. The property features mountain and lake views. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Han is amazing. So welcoming and understanding of why we’re there (we were running in a trail race along with other guests at the time). She woke up extremely early to make us coffee and get us ready for the race. The facilities are so lovely. Beautiful pool. Comfortable room. Delicious food. Such a wonderful stay.

We stayed at Co's for two nights and had a great stay! The room was unique, with a loft with beds, and a queen bed at the lower level, perfect for families with kids. The balcony was really nice, too. We had a great shower and the AC and fan kept the room cool even though there was a heatwave while we were there. Breakfast was awesome, with choices, including the best bread, great pho, coffee, and extras like watermelon. Co helped us a lot, first to get bikes for our kids, then to help us navigate around Mai Chau, and finally to get transportation onward. Co made sure we were comfortable and always greeted us with a smile and was easy to converse with. We borrowed adult bikes for free from him and had the best day exploring around. The entire family was super kind and friendly. We recommend this guesthouse!

Common spaces and rooms are stunning, built in a traditional way, with amazing cleaniness and materials used. Free bycicles are the best found so far, high quality. Coffee, teas and delicious bananas for free every day and time. Other beverages are available in the fridge for a great additional price. What about Lim? She is a super lovely host l, never being pushy, and after all she is an amazing chef! Every night upon request she cooks super fresh, traditional and delicious meals, using every day only fresh ingredients from local farmers and markets, which are honestly superb. We had the most delicious meals of our trip in Vietnam with no doubts. You will have also complimentary laundry at Lim's House. Lim will also help you with great efficiency and reliability in arranging scooters rental and transport for your next destination. If you look at the website you will find great ideas and tips to explore the province around Mai Châu, where it is recommended to use a scooter to enjoy at the best. However, I strongly suggest to talk to Lim which will give you additional hints and ideas, and you will be able to plan your days and visits at the greatest according to your wishes! Everything is so nice and traditional that you would never leave Lim's House! And after few days you will still miss it!
