The location is also fantastic - right in the medina. Obviously you cannot park in front of the apartment, but there is a lot of free parking space a couple of minutes away. The terrace has great views across the medina and the peninsula. Monia, the host, was super nice and welcoming. She speaks French and we speak English, so we communicated with the help of her son Farouk (over the phone, as he lives in France). Farouk was also exceptionally nice and helped us in a second, finding a mechanic when we had car problems. Overall, Mahdia is a great place to visit, but staying in this apartment is a reason enough to visit this town.

The host was very helpful even before my arrival sending me all the instructions on how to reach their house and him and his family made me feel welcome and at ease throughout my stay. The room was very big and comfortable and the view on the sea was great. The house is a great starting place to explore the charming little town.
