The location is perfect - a 1 minute walk to the local and well stocked store to pick up your baguette or croissant, a short walk to the beach or access with the kayaks via the canal, and in an area with local snack bars and activities near by. There are also kayaks to use but I didn’t have time to do that.

AC worked great, they placed baguettes every morning with butter and jam, the pool was kept clean and the hosts were outstanding. A car is highly recommended to get around the island.

Maison Orange exceeded all my expectations. It was spacious, clean, I could use the washing machine, there is a big kitchen to use, the room has a great size,… huge terrace - the location is perfect - very close to beach by the hotel Tipaniers where you can rent a kayak, go scuba diving, take excursions,… If I come back (which I am already planning to) - I will definitely stay here again!

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Each room is fitted with a patio with pool views. Gorgeous views of the surrounding area. We had our own bathroom. The place was very clean. Sarah, the host, was super helpful and gave so many good recommendations for things to do. No AC, but this was no issue. Never felt too hot or muggy. 10/10 would recommend.

We were watching whales from the beach every morning, which was really unexpected.

We loved Moorea, had we known, we would have stayed a week instead of just 4 days. The staff and service at Linareva is exceptional. There is a beautiful tranquil family run atmosphere. These cottages are perfectly equipped (even milk frother with coffee machine). We loved kayaking (provided) and snorkeling (there is some older gear, better bring your own) on the coral around the blue hole. It was sometimes so wind still that the surface of the sea looked like a lake. You can catch lovely sunsets from the pier. We would absolutely stay there again. Note: you will need a car, to get there, for grocery shopping but also to get to all the great spots on Moorea: drift snorkel, boat rental (cheap at Hotel Les Tipaniers), restaurants … We rented at Avis.com collecting the car at the ferry terminal, returning at the airport, and it was super easy and quick.
