Mario greeted us at the port and walked us to his home. Excellent location close to the center where lunch is served daily. Mario made us nice breakfast and dinner daily. Great location to walk and enjoy the scenery.

Spacy room with big bed. The owner is very nice, speaks very good English and is really helpful. He cares a lot about the guests, gives advice, helps to cach a taxi and makes sure the driver will drive us exactely where we need. We were leaving early in the morning, and he prepared for us snacks for the bus in place of the breakfast which we had to skip.

I had a really special stay, dare I say a spiritual experience on the 8th of the 8th. Communication with Jose Louis and family was great from beginning to end, there were enough activities offered to make the most of the time, with also opportunities for peaceful solo time. Pilan’s cooking is incredible. Highlights were the sunset from the mountain, joining in the community dancing and fire ceremonies in the plaza and just the general chats with the family around the dinner table with the other guests. I felt so welcomed, warm and at ease - this was my home away from home for a night, I wish I could’ve stayed longer. It takes special kind of people to make you feel this was so thank you Jose Louis and Pilan and family for welcoming us to your beautiful home.

We had the best night of our holidays in Perù, the bed was so confortable. The little village of Llachon which can be reached with a little walk, is very cute and away from any touristic agitation. The food they serve is amazing too! To be short, don’t hesitate and stay at la Casa de Valentin, it’s perfect 👍🏻

From first communication through our entire stay, they were warm and inviting. They've created a peaceful retreat in the stunning landscape of the Uros and Lake Titicaca. We were treated like royalty, and Isaac spent a lot of time with us teaching us about the Uros, their history and their culture. The accommodations were outstanding as well as their personalized service.

From sharing English phrases for Quechua with Ernesto to drinking local tea, watching the sunsets, to hiking the local trails, I can not recommend enough.
