They showed us all over the island, answered all questions in detail and are just one of the nicest people we have ever met around the world. The island is a magical place, rarely any disturbing noises, just nature and an tranquil lifestyle. The nature is absolutely stunning. If you come to the island make sure to stay at least 1, better 2 or more nights to fully discover the island and to give your mind and soul a proper reset! Rooms were very comfy with 24h electricity and in our case a hot shared shower. You can eat lunch at the local community restaurant and Julia will make breakfast and dinner for a very reasonable price. Local crafts can be bought directly from them or from other families at the main square.These products can not be found in any other place! Just make sure to bring enough cash as there is no ATM on the island and only one little store accepts card payment. If you are in Peru or in Bolivia make sure to spend at least 2 nights here, you will not regret it!

Amazing location that allows to easily visit several islands of the lake. Boat tours can be organised from the hotel Harbor. Great view on the lake from the room. The cook is also great, very good diners. Very good hotel to discover the lake titicaca. We highly recommend!

With comfy beds topped with llama blankets, we had an exceptional stay. From sharing English phrases for Quechua with Ernesto to drinking local tea, watching the sunsets, to hiking the local trails, I can not recommend enough.
