We really felt welcome and looked after like special guests. They own a basic but lovely log cabin with a pool on their property. We stayed there one night before doing our 3 days trip into the Amazon and it was perfect. They did provide local breakfast as part of the room fees and a lovely dinner at a reasonable price.

Nicolas is absolutely wonderful, very kind, very friendly and very respectful. He can organise daily tours, they were excellent. The tours were with small groups (less than 8 pax). Nicolas cooked very tasty meals. The property is located away from town, which means you have lovely nature around you, but Nicolas was very helpful in driving us to places we needed. The bungalows had a balcony, wifi and hot showers. The two dogs that live there are truly beautiful, we miss their cuddles already. Nicolas helped us find birds and a sloth nearby. There are squirrel monkeys nearby. The property is located near other resorts if you need a pool or river access. We enjoyed this property for its local community and wildlife, its excellent value for a small business. My only recommendation would be to have a tea/coffee making facilities available all day, and a large shower mat to catch excess water.

Rosa and Elvis make you feel at home and they have a very affectionate dog (Kira). My Spanish is not great but it is nice to practice it here because they are very patient. The food that Rosa cooks is local and tastes great. Their garden borders the jungle and Elvis gave us a nighttour twice. We saw tarantula's, snakes and porcupines. I am so happy that we stayed here and I would recommend this place to anyone!

Breakfasts changed every morning and always included fresh juice, and lunches and dinners were available at a cost of s/25. The mosquito net in my room kept out all mosquitoes during the night. There was a cold spell, so I was given extra blankets to keep warm at night. Sheyla was excellent at coordinating tours into the jungle, which were reasonably-priced. I enjoyed seeing monkeys and birds on the property, and the family kitten was a nice bonus. The property is off the beaten track so it was nice and quiet all the time.

Raul, the host, was very sweet and helpful showing me where to get food, we talked a lot about the animals in the jungle that I saw on my tours, and he gave me a ride to the airport. I had a much needed good quality break after living in jungle cabins for a while.

My girlfriend got ill just before we arrived, and everyone at Tronco was so accommodating, caring and incredibly understanding, despite us having to make multiple last minute changes to our stay and activities. They cooked special food to help with her illness, and also assisted with medical attention. Nothing was too much to ask. The accommodation is lovely, the location is beautiful and peaceful, the food is excellent and the activities Tronco offer are fantastic. We only wish we could have done all of them! Everything is 10/10 and we would highly recommend staying with them for your visit to the Amazon. Thank you again everyone at Tronco.
