( Right in between Thamel and basantapur durbar square) is a recently renovated apartment situated in Kathmandu, 500 metres from Hanuman Dhoka. Among the facilities at this property are a shared kitchen and full-day security, along with free WiFi throughout the property. The apartment has family rooms. I was really satisfied with my very short stay, and it was a pleasure to have met such a helpful and friendly family/staff, the place has a minimalist bohemian style, it's very peacefully, calm and homely. I would definitely go back ✌️

Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and luggage storage space, along with free WiFi throughout the property. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. I didn’t expect much from the place I booked just a couple of hours before arriving. But apparently it is a place where I want to come back. The rooms and service were good, but as a traveler my expectations are quite low and I don’t really pay much attention to such things. What always matters more to me are the people, warm conversations and the shared experiences. And I got exactly that! In such a short time, I was leaving the guys as if they were my friends. I wish you lots of success and hope to see you again.

It is located 1.3 km from Hanuman Dhoka and features full-day security. The accommodation provides a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and currency exchange for guests. This was my third time at Andrew home. And as always, it was a very nice stay. Everything was perfect. I was picked up. My room was, as always, very clean and you have everything you need. The shared guest kitchen is a great place to socialize with other guests. It is only 10 minutes to the center of Thamel. The breakfast and dinner were very tasty. The accommodation has a nice Nepalese flair. Thanks to the host for this wonderful stay. I will definitely be back.

The accommodation offers private check-in and check-out, and currency exchange for guests. Bobby is an excellent, caring and friendly host,he picked me up from the bus stop, waiting patiently as traffic held us up. A ride on the back of his motorbike to the hotel was great fun! Room spacious, double and single beds, wardrobe, chair and table, several power points, clothes stand. Directly outside the room is a wash basin, shower room and toilet next door, plus kitchen with kettle. Each guest is on a seperate floor, so very private. Sat up on the roof terrace in the sun one morning too. Central position, 2 minutes from Durbar Square, plenty of local shops including a supermarket next door to the hotel.

With city views, Laxmi Homestay with main square view is situated in Bhaktapur and has a restaurant and room service. The property has quiet street views and is 200 metres from Bhaktapur Durbar Square and 12 km from Patan Durbar Square. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a bicycle rental service is also available. I chose this homestay based on previous comments and they were not lying. You couldn’t hope for a better host than Navin. He doesn’t do it for business but for the pleasure to welcome and share his culture, and you can trully feel it. I got to spend 3 dinners with his family, he showed me his yoga/meditation routine and he took me with him for all the prayers/ceremony in the early morning (+many teas and talks). All of that in just one day! The homestay is PERFECTLY located, there is a rooftop and hot shower. The dorm is quite small but beds are comfy, with curtains, own fan and power socket. If you want to expérience the local life, you have your place.

Situated 200 metres from Hanuman Dhoka, Studio Apartment at UNESCO Heritage Site offers accommodation with a terrace and free WiFi. It is set 200 metres from Kathmandu Durbar Square and features private check-in and check-out. When staying at the apartment, guests can use private entrance. Location is perfect. Simple and clean. Very helpful host, I will definitely come back!

With garden views, Sunrise Point Homestay is situated in Nagarkot and has a restaurant and room service. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are accessible at the homestay free of charge. Guests can make use of the sun terrace or the outdoor fireplace, or enjoy views of the mountain and lake. Was there for 5 nights but could have happily stayed for 2 weeks. Food was amazing and almost all home grown. Location also perfect (just outside the town, with a beautiful view) and lots of nearby hiking trails/tracks/villages to explore. Probably my favourite place in Nepal.
