The safari with Surya and Som was also great with Surya telling us many informations and Som taking care of our safety. We were really lucky and saw 7rhinos, many deers and some garhials as highlights.

In Tara guesthouse I found a real family who made me feel like home! The place is gorgeous. I had a huge room and bathroom with hot water, fan, mosquito net and fantastic views, from the balcony. Everything is very clean and you also have a tropical garden to relax and to eat as they also serve delicious homemade food. They can arrange for you all kind of trips in the jungle as well as bus tickets except the elephant ride which obviously is UNETHICAL and we don' t support it. All the above in the best price and with plenty of love! I will be back to Chitwan very soon and one reason is to meet again those wonderful people.

Lela and her family are incredibly welcoming, make amazing food, arrange everything for you. We went for a full day safari tour (canoe, walking and jeep) and we had a blast. It felt like home and I’m so grateful I booked 2 nights there! + the hot shower ♥️

They went above and beyond to assist us with everything—from answering our many queries to arranging our safari packages and even helping us book a car ride to Pokhara. The breakfast spread was another highlight. Whether you’re into à la carte options or prefer a buffet, the morning meal was both generous and delicious. The property is also strategically located, just a short distance from Chitwan National Park, making it a convenient base for wildlife adventures. A special shoutout to Roshan, his colleagues, and the management team, whose warmth and professionalism truly stood out. Their genuine smiles and helpful attitude made our stay extra special. We also fell in love with their adorable dogs—one in particular was always smiling, and though we never caught its real name, we lovingly called it “Happy.” The other mischievous golden retriever was named Coco, which we overheard from the staff as it was always being called out to. One particularly memorable moment was when the staff performed a morning pooja. They even offered us Vibhuti as part of the ritual—a kind gesture we had to politely decline since we’d rushed down for breakfast and hadn’t yet showered! It’s rare to find a place where everyone—from the management to the housekeeping team—seems genuinely happy to be there. KC’s Home lives up to its name and is truly a home away from home.
