Sakrisøy Gjestegård - Manor House in Sakrisøy - Solbakken anno 1880 is housed in a former manor house dating back to 1880 and is located in the area of Moskenes. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property and free private parking is available 70 metres away. I arrived very late and they left me an envelop with instructions and a greeting card. My room in the second floor was small but comfortable for 1 person, very clean, beautiful view of the sea and bring to Reine. The bed was fantastic, after driving solo from Tromso y slept almost 12 hours straight. Also they were very kind to understand my late check-in and they let me have a late check-out. The only noise is the one of the seagulls or birds, but after ten years traveling in the summer to Scandinavia I am used to that kinda annoying sound of those birds. Love the bathroom, well design space, great toiletries. Also they have a nespreso machine. It was great would have love to stay more than 1 night there. Plus the tv is great from the bed and the wifi worked great. The parking is near but you have to walk up a hill with luggage. Bonus Anita’s Fish Restaurant is in front!!!

Could go swimming daily Beautiful rooms with self catering which was great. Supermarkets within 10 minutes walk. The place was fully booked but still had.okenty of space to use facilities without running into too many others. Options if bike rental though I had a full itinerary as it was. Overall comfortable, great value and a beautiful setting .

The island with the iconic, ochre yellow cabins in the middle of the Reine fjord, The island have been in the care of the Gylseth family for many generations. Pictured in countless commercials, postcards, tv shows and films, this is a destination that you will not easily forget. The cabin was clean, spacious and comfortable with nice views. The location was great too, two restaurants within walking distance, Reine and grocery store several minutes drive away.

We like the location, especially the view of the Fjord from our windows, and the quietness - the hotel stays away from the busy tourists area but in walking distance to everything. The staff on the reception was knowledgeable and polite. The food in the restaurant at breakfast and dinner was amazing. You have to keep in mind to book the table for dinner.
