Pictured in countless commercials, postcards, tv shows and films, this is a destination that you will not easily forget. historical cabin with an incredible view . went swimming directly in the fjord right out of the room with turquoise waters

The Lofot Aquarium is a 3-minute walk away. Amazing setting and comfy cabins. The sauna and spa was nice and had terrific views. The restaurant was lovely and the food good.

This is the first time I've ever felt like I was staying at a relatives house. The proprietor is unbelievably kind, welcoming, and generous and made me feel like a member of their family. They gave me a tour of the house, offered me food and drink, and the next day rearranged their schedule to drive me to the airport when I expressed nervousness about walking along the highway or grabbing a taxi ( which are hit or miss on the island). You will not find a nicer or more welcoming host! In terms of the accommodation itself, the rooms are as advertised and the wifi is solid. While there are more luxurious places to stay, none of them will replicate the feel that this place had. I would go out of my way to stay here again.
