We never met Ellen, but Dirk was pleasant and communicative. His apartment was good-sized and had everything we needed to have a pleasant evening. We were given more than enough food for breakfast, and still enough to make sandwiches for lunch. The apartment was quiet, comfortable, and within a five-minute walk to town and the grocery store. We had a nice stay in the pretty town of Enkhuizen and look forward to coming back.

We loved everything about Boat and Boost Amsterdam. It was an ideal getaway spot for the two of us. Check-in was easy and Jan Paul, the delightful host, was there to greet us upon our arrival. We stayed in the smaller of the two houseboat apartments and it was perfectly cosy and comfortable with enough space for two. The apartment was spotless. Full marks as well for creative use of space and modern well thought out craftsmanship. While slightly off the beaten path relative to Amsterdam's city centre, its location made for very tranquil living away from the bustle of city centre, yet close enough to be within convenient reach of Amsterdam's main attractions. There are several restaurants as well as grocery stores a short walk away if needed. Public transit to downtown is quick, easy and right around the corner. A Highly recommended Amsterdam houseboat experience.

We had a great stay! The place was very confortable and the hosts are very nice. We enjoyed looking at the cows and horses outside. The area was better than expected since there is a center area with a bunch of stores and restaurants that were in walking/biking distance. Highly recommended.
