The setting of the large, comfortable tents in the quiet of the desert; the fantastic dinner braai packs with venison steak, salad, home-made bread and even a dessert (as we were not set up for camping, we were given crockery to use for our meal); the swim in the fish pond/pool with mountains in the background; the long shared breakfast table, where we met interesting fellow travellers. The owner Anna and Ernst at reception, who were both lovely, and the beer in the fridge there which was always cold :). We are seriously considering going back there for a longer stay!

Guests at the farm stay can enjoy a buffet breakfast. The camp site was beautiful and isolated for an uninterrupted sunset view from the raised pool deck bar. Sleeping under the stars (you roll your bed out onto the balcony!) was just spectacular. And a beautiful meal included cooked in an open courtyard with two fire pits. Even with every tent occupied it felt super “individual” without being too crowded. To top it off, we had zebras eating just in front of our tent!

Beautiful cottages with a groovy outdoor kitchen and bbq (that’s braii for some!). Very comfortable rooms, great hot showers, pretty good wifi in bar area only and a swimming pool too ( brrrr in june!) staff are so friendly and can provide and deliver food to your cottage. They also supply a kitchen box with all untensils, frypan, saucepan, plates etc. Electric cooktop in outside kitchen plus kettle and fridge. You just sit on your porch and admire the stunning views whilst cooking, amazing!

Some units have a fireplace. All units at the campground are fitted with a shared bathroom fitted with a shower. Wonderful place in the bush, far from the nearest neighbor, we felt like the last humans on earth. Hot water, hot shower, all facilities well equipped, great braai. A true gem!
