You will not be disappointed. It is only 100 metres from NP entrance & lake edge. Magical entry is unique thru bush path that opens onto safari style forest huts in keeping with the secluded setting. The rooms were exceptionally clean, beds comfy with mosquito nets. Ensuite was spotless. The best part was our host Neehal! His limited English was more than made up for by his entusiasm & attention to detail. Were ate all meals on site and were exceptional provided by Sanjay.. Highly reccomended !!! Priya and his team couldn’t do enough for us and was so attentive with utmost understanding and kindness to our 22month old daughter. The food was fine dining at its best and kept making the chicken soup my daughter couldn’t get enough of. Priya’s knowledge of the wildlife in the park was great and again focusing on wildlife our daughter could see.

The staff and service was what stands out the most, they do their best to ensure you are always safe and clean. It's on the expensive side but what you are paying for is the extensive knowledge of the guide on the safari which is missing in other places. We have both learnt a lot about different animals and behaviours on this safari and it's an experience that will stay with us forever

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Each room includes a balcony with views of the garden. Really good location close to the national Park. We were originally supposed to stay in Green Sapphire but they let us down a few hours before we were due to arrive (seems they’ve done it a lot looking at the Google reviews), but the Mango Villa team had everything sorted even though we booked just a few hours earlier that day they were still able to organise 2 full day safaris for the following 2 days where we saw all sorts of great wildlife. Staff are all really friendly, especially the man who brings the food across in the evenings (unfortunately I don’t know his name). The food is good especially considering the remote location and nice packed lunches for the safari each day. Definitely the place to stay if you’re planning a Wilpattu safari!
