There is a sun terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Greeted by super friendly staff. Rooms are great. Our tree house was right next to a monkey family’s tree house ;-) we walked around the lodge, had amazing three course dinner, went on a late night river boat safari, and a half day morning safari. Spotted crocs, elephants, saw fresh leopard footprints (couldn’t spot the cat, however she was definitely there), so many different birds, monkeys. Had breakfast from the provided basket and lunch when we arrived back at the lodge. The location is great, on the river, close to the Wilpattu entrance. We stayed one night but can recommend staying two.

Set just 38 km from Kumbichchan Kulama Tank, Wilpattu Mookalan Resort provides accommodation in Habawewa with access to free bikes, a garden, as well as room service. Both free WiFi and parking on-site are available at the guest house free of charge. The guest house features family rooms. Fantastic! We were a close family group of 7 persons in 3 rooms. You will not be disappointed. It is only 100 metres from NP entrance & lake edge. Magical entry is unique thru bush path that opens onto safari style forest huts in keeping with the secluded setting. The rooms were exceptionally clean, beds comfy with mosquito nets. Ensuite was spotless. The best part was our host Neehal! His limited English was more than made up for by his entusiasm & attention to detail. Were ate all meals on site and were exceptional provided by Sanjay.. Highly reccomended !!! Wilpattu homestay by Ceylon group is a recently renovated homestay in Wilpattu, where guests can make the most of its open-air bath and free bikes. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk and full-day security, along with free WiFi throughout the property. There is free private parking and the property offers paid airport shuttle service. Reason for above answers - lighting no bedside light. Had to get out of bed to turn light off. Breakfasts and dinners very good.

Priya and his team couldn’t do enough for us and was so attentive with utmost understanding and kindness to our 22month old daughter. The food was fine dining at its best and kept making the chicken soup my daughter couldn’t get enough of. Priya’s knowledge of the wildlife in the park was great and again focusing on wildlife our daughter could see.

Get up close with wildlife and nature at Leopard Trails Wilpattu, a campsite with tents offering a private bathroom. Breakfast is included for guests during their stay and airport shuttle services can be arranged at a surcharge. Leopard Trails was one of the highlight stays of our Sri Lankan vacation. Its glamping with a capital G, and very good value for money. Just a few km from the Wilpattu park entrance, we went on 2 safaris and of course saw Leopard, Sloth bear, elephant and a bunch of other species. But TBH it was the stay in this luxury camp, with its spacious safari style tent rooms, its wonderful staff and food that was amongst the best we had in Sri Lanka. I 100% recommend staying here.

Located on the border of Wilpattu National Park, Big Game - Wilpattu by Eco Team offers spacious tents with an attached partitioned bathroom. Surrounded by wildlife and nature, the camp-site is 7 km from the park’s entrance and just 500 metres from the park's boundary. The entire experience was just amazing! Food was delicious and the dinner under the stars just magical. I believe we got upgraded to a bigger and more fancy tent than we actually booked and it was spacious, clean and comfortable. The evening walk was awesome we got to see all kinds of creatures and learned a lot. Wilpattu park is beautiful but unfortunately we weren’t lucky enough to see the big animals so in case you really want to be sure, book more than one safari.

This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. Each room includes a balcony with views of the garden. Really good location close to the national Park. We were originally supposed to stay in Green Sapphire but they let us down a few hours before we were due to arrive (seems they’ve done it a lot looking at the Google reviews), but the Mango Villa team had everything sorted even though we booked just a few hours earlier that day they were still able to organise 2 full day safaris for the following 2 days where we saw all sorts of great wildlife. Staff are all really friendly, especially the man who brings the food across in the evenings (unfortunately I don’t know his name). The food is good especially considering the remote location and nice packed lunches for the safari each day. Definitely the place to stay if you’re planning a Wilpattu safari!

The spacious villa includes 1 bedroom, a living room, and 2 bathrooms with a bidet. Towels and bed linen are featured in the villa. For added privacy, the accommodation has a private entrance and is protected by full-day security. It’s clean and very well maintained. Amazing service. Gentleman, unfortunately we didn’t catch his name, was supporting us throughout all stay. He arranged very tasty bbq and to go breakfast for safari. There are all amenities in this house.

The air-conditioned accommodation is 32 km from Kada Panaha Tank. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a terrace. Spacious room about 10-15 min drive from Wilpattu. Our host was very friendly and arranged a tour to Wilpattu for us. We got breakfast and lunch for along the way which was very delicious. Breakfast next morning was delicious again. We left with the bus which stops 100m from the guest house.
