Jeya has been a great host. I really enjoyed my little chats with him. The restaurant offers great meals. His staff members, especially Justin, were super attentive and took good care of us. I love the location! It's right on the beach! And during the time we were there, the beach to the left and to the right from the hotel was deserted. There are only a few rooms at the hotel and guests would leave somewhere and at times it felt like we had our own private beach just for two of us! Also having breakfast and dining there is so great, because again your doing it right on the beach, so the scenery and the sounds of waves are perfect. I live how they have us so many different traditional Sri-Lankan side dishes to our order. The bungalows are located far from the main road, so you only hear the sound of waves and nothing else. Very nice owners and staff - they helped us with luggage both during check-in and check-out and did it out of genuine hospitality, not like most places in the world where they help you with luggage and stay there wait for tips. Really great place, very romantic, I hope we'll be able to come back to Sri-Lanka again and stay at these Bungalows!

What’s not to love about this hotel? Our stay was perfect, and it was so hard to leave! The room was simple but spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The internet was fast and stable, allowing us to work and join Zoom meetings without any issues. There was hot water, and the location was just a tuktuk ride away from all the major sites in Trincomalee and a very short walk to the beach. The best part of our stay was our host, Praba, and his staff! They were all very welcoming, kind, and helpful. The second best part was Praba's cooking! The food was so good, much better quality than the beachfront restaurants, and reasonably priced too. The servings were huge, and everything was fresh and lovingly made! 100/10 would recommend to stay and eat most of your meals here.

Pleasant Park Holiday Inn was exactly that - pleasant! The room was even better than in the pictures and I was surprised with the cleanliness of it. The staff was very approachable and not obtrusive. The owner was very fun to talk to as he has interesting stories from all over the world. I would gladly recommend this stay!
