The owner is very helpful and interesting to talk too, they have done a great job of keeping the place part of the jungle. They organised a safari for us which was really nice we didn't see too many other jeeps and even managed to see a leopard.

We had a very nice stay at wild Wadi Wilpattu, Manori helped us to book transport for a good price, she organize a safari in wilpattu, even though the guide wasn't very informative, we had a nice day in the park, and saw a lot of birds and animals. We had a evening boat trip in the lagoon, saw 2 old baobab trees, but only few birds, but a nice sundown. Manori drove us to our next destination, we had nuts, curd and juice from king coconut on the way, and she was very nice and informative, the price for the tour was very fair.

The restaurant is excellent, and we recommend choosing half board (breakfast and dinner), as it was the best food we had during our three-week trip in Sri Lanka and there are very limited options to eat in Kalpitiya. The staff were very kind and helpful, with a special mention to our waiter, Ahamed, who was attentive throughout our stay. The staff also helped us organize activities nearby, including a lagoon boat tour and kitesurfing lessons.

Meryl arranged us bicycles to ride around for 1000 LKR and helped us getting a tuktuk in the morning to the bus station (which was cheaper than taking it by ourselves when we first got there). Overall great experience.
