There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. The guest house also provides free WiFi, free private parking and facilities for disabled guests. Loved the place and Tony is a fantastic host that cares about guests having the best of their time while in Jaffna. Location was perfect, 50mts from the bus stop, in a quite area in front of a gorgeous park and a very short walk or bike ride from restaurants and the city centre and fort. Tony and his partner were super helpful with any matter or question I had. They helped me arrange a bicycle to go around town, a tuktuk tour of the northern side of the peninsula, and find good dining spots. Breakfast was good, based on local foods - they even made it take away on my last day as I had an early bus. I had a private bathroom, which was perfectly clean and the shower was great. Although my room was in the ground floor, I never had any issues with noise coming from common areas.

It is located in very convenient place opposite to the famous Nallur temple. It was fascinating hearing the history of the residence.. Very much enjoyed the stay. Allens home stay, a property with a terrace, is set in Jaffna, 600 metres from Nallur Kandaswamy Temple, 1.5 km from Jaffna Railway Station, as well as 2.6 km from Jaffna Public Library. The property is around 3.1 km from Jaffna Fort, 14 km from Nilavarai Well and 20 km from Naguleswaram Temple. The guest house offers rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. We traveled around Sri Lanka and of all the places we stayed at, we enjoyed Allen's the most. All worked as described, Allen was ready to help with anything, breakfasts were tasteful and fruit-ful, even wifi worked well (very uncommon during the majority of our other stays). Plus the place is clean and has a cool and laid-back vibe and Allen is a kind host. Fully recommended! Thank you, Allen!

My husband, two children and I shared a family room, and we had ample space and ample air conditioning. The room is off of a shared kitchen/lounge space and a balcony, which was really nice for preparing snacks and relaxing. Everything was very clean and nicely situated. The biggest highlight of this place was our wonderful hosts. The host family could not have been more gracious. We happened to be in Jaffna for the new year, and they took us under their wing, sharing their traditions (including treats, dressing, a visit to the temple and fireworks at night). Their sweet kids played with our kids and, all in all, they made us feel completely at home in this beautiful city. We're very grateful for their generosity and hospitality and would absolutely recommend this place to everyone.

Adi let me store my bags at the homestay after I checked out, and even to take a shower when I came back to pick them up, which was lovely and meant that I could enjoy water activities such as the Keerimalai bath and the beach. Definitely get the breakfast (you can add it on once you're there). It's delicious and excellent value. The property is cute, with a pond built into the front walk (with fish you can look at 😍), an interior courtyard, and my room had an attached outdoor bathroom (with a roof and walls) that let in light while giving privacy, so I felt like I was in a private garden for my shower.
