Rooms, bathrooms and linen were very clean. There's hot water in the shower. Water pressure in my room was great. Sound proofing is decent. There's a shared outdoor seating area with a couple of hammocks where I'd lounge about all day. The wifi is strong and stable. They have tea, coffee and bananas at the front desk. Ask for bottled water if you need some. The ever-smiling Mr. Sinsai is an amazing host. He speaks fluent English and is always available, should you need anything. He got me some terrific deals on tours. Also helped book bus tickets to Luang Prabang. The highlight of my stay was the New Year's Eve barbecue which he helped me setup! 10/10 would recommend. I'm gonna stay here again the next time I'm in town.

The guest house features some units with mountain views, and every unit is fitted with a balcony. fab location a short walk to restaurants bars etc but it was super quiet here and beautiful view of the river- maybe bring a torch to walk home at night though! best bed in Laos for me. Mr Mang, the owner, also runs a bunch of tours. we didn't get a chance to try one this time but he was incredibly helpful for booking bus transfer but also renting some kayaks just for a little paddle. all staff at the hotel were very helpful and welcoming. I would stay again for sure!
