Bungalow home all to myself. Had such authentic village like lifestyle stay. Sleeping while hearing the nature was wonderfully peaceful. The food is delicious, has extremely great boat tours which the value was worth so much more than the cost. Fun and generous owner also. Recommend very much.

What an amazing hotel, we loved everything at Golden Beach. The staff is amazing, always willing to help, proactive, organizing lots of great activities, and really helpful overall. You can always find things that might not be perfect, but the staff made our stay feel perfect. Besides that the beach of the hotel is amazing, always cleaned and perfect. The breakfast was really good too and the rooms are quite big and welcoming. I would definitely return to Golden beach.

Bungalow was very clean and have good facilities. John is very nice man and he is also very helpful and give you lots of good advice. There is no WiFi which is good escape from Internet and social media but if you need to be connected buy Cellcard it working well. Beach is walkable.

She has all of the intel on the best places to eat, drink, snorkel etc. She knows all of the owners of the local restaurants and can tell you when and what is open as some of the restaurants have irregular opening times. We found our stay at Sam’s Place very comfortable and Sam made us feel totally welcome. The room was quiet and clean and there are outside soft chairs and sofa to relax. The beach is about 50 metres away; the mini Mart about 20 metres away. Highly recommended.

The location and resort is very quiet. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The equipment of the bungalow is basic but sufficient, nice bathroom. Resort is in the best part of the beach! We rented kayaks from one of the shops by the beach and spent a day on the small island opposite and another day we went on a beautiful walk across the island to another remote beach, seeing hornbills and monkeys! I can not wait to come back
