The family who run Coco guesthouse made us feel so genuinely cared for. They took us on a great tour one day and helped us to organize transport to the islands- even ensuring that we had water bottles when we left! The food is also amazing and cheaper than in town. Staying across the bridge provided us with a more genuine experience to see how life for the locals in Kampot is, far more so than the expat filled centre. But don’t worry it’s only a few minutes walk across the bridge to reach the centre.

The cafe was a nice place to have breakfast and hangout when we were not in our room. Our bungalow was very spacious and a great place to come home to after a long day of exploration. Mr. Leng and his family are the best hosts around and go above and beyond to make sure all their guests are very comfortable. They provide great recommendations for sites to see in the area and help arrange transportation and scooter rentals. One of my favorite parts of our stay was the tour of Fish Island Mr. Leng took us on at sunset. The setting is absolutely stunning. I can’t rave enough about the hospitality and generosity of Mr. Leng and his family and would only stay here if we returned to Kampot!

Located 6.2 km from Kampot Pagoda, Domnak Teuk Chhou offers air-conditioned accommodation with a terrace. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. The outdoor swimming pool features a pool bar and fence. Beautiful spot, just outside of town. Easy to get to with grab or by hiring a moped from the manager. Rooms clean, food offered was very good, and super kind management, especially helpful with games and toys offered for our 5 year old to play with. Would def stay again!

Kanel is the most attentive and friendly host we have met during our travels so far - helped us out with everything we needed in and around the house and was just so welcoming. The little house is equipped with a refrigerator, a kitchenette and seating area and is located in a safe little neighbourhood. We enjoyed the peacefulness and calm and would definitely come back next time. Thanks again Kanel!
