Gorgeous room, with hammock on the balcony, bonus outside shower, fridge, stylish toiletries. Nothing not to like. Just gorgeous.

Every detail exceeded expectations from its preserved traditional Swahili architecture, plunge pool, and cozy pergola to the spacious rooms and comfy beds. The house is conveniently located, a short walk from the seafront and popular points of interest, with Mr. Safari and his team going above and beyond, from airport pickups to being just a call away. I loved the thoughtful addition of standing fans, which kept us cool in the Lamu heat! I’d 100% recommend Andavelo House! The location might be surprising initially, as you pass locals going about their daily lives and navigating some less-than-ideal surroundings (like open sewers and donkey dung). However, this is not a reflection of Andavelo House, which is a stunning oasis that makes the journey worthwhile.

It is located 700 metres from Gallery Baraka and offers luggage storage space. The guest house features family rooms. Katana my host at Samaki House was exceptionally kind and knowledgeable of the area. We had lovely conversations and he made a delicious breakfast. I enjoyed the room and the my overall experience at the house, I will definitely stay again!

The property features garden and sea views, a barbecue, and free WiFi is available. The location was amazing. The staff were welcoming and friendly. They accommodated our needs and helped us with ways to get around the town. The environment was healing and very warm. Absolutely enjoyed it.

Shella white house is located in Shela village, just 2 km from Lamu Airport and 3 km from Lamu Old Town. Everything about being in Shella countless times, is my peace. Ambience, Ben was available to assist with anything needed, good hospitality. And not to mention how accessible it was, you will find everything you need within that space from shops to hotels , beach view and sunrise.

The bright rooms at Subira House have either a patio or a balcony and some have sea views and free Wi-Fi. Every room has a fan, a seating area, and a dining area. The atmosphere of the place is superb because of the owners Christine and Paul who give it a special note. The building is very special and just behind Lamu Fort which allowed me to enter a Swahili Wedding. It was amazing.
