The staff was so nice and respectful. It was pouring rain when we arrived, and the attendant held an umbrella for us until we got under cover! The meals were delicious, well-balanced, skillfully prepared, and filling. Everything else was just as amazing. The view of the valley, especially when it rained, was like being inside a painting (my new phone background). The steaming hot outdoor onsen was wonderful. The spacious room with a modern bathroom and comfortable futon was perfect. We received a message on booking.com that said they could not accommodate our pescatarian diet, but we went anyways, and when we asked at dinner about it, they were happy to replace the red meat and poultry with river fish. We are so grateful!!!

Our room was comfortable and very spacious, the meals were exceptional, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and the hot spring facility is amazing with fabulous views across the valley. The local scenery is breathtaking. Great value for money!
