Owner lives 5min away and came to help me when I got confused about how to get my key from the box attached to the side of the house. The owner responds to messages very promptly. There is a file folder with pictures and descriptions of places to eat at and stuff to do in the vicinity, even very clear directions for guests, which is super duper thoughtful. I highly recommend!. This gave us a much deeper appreciation for the local culture and traditions, creating memories we will cherish forever. The next morning, we enjoyed a relaxing breakfast with freshly brewed coffee and tea, accompanied by their delicious farm-produced honey. Knowing that the honey was lovingly made by the family on their own farm, surrounded by the beautiful natural landscapes of Aomori, made it taste even more special. This stay was the perfect blend of cultural immersion, local flavors, and genuine hospitality. We are truly grateful for the kindness, joy, and unforgettable experiences shared by the host and their family. Nambu Town is a fascinating place and truly a hidden gem. Highly recommended for anyone seeking an authentic and heartwarming experience.

She even lent as snow boots for our winter hikes when she saw that our shoes was unsuitable for the snow. She was friendly and spoke English well. The rooms was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The onsen was big and well maintained. The breakfast and dinner was better than any restaurant we could find in hirosaki! Will definitely be back again :)
