Everything was organized and well-prepared, starting from check-in; extremely friendly and helpful staff and they speak English so well, which was a plus! The room was great and the bed/mattress was very comfortable. I liked how they integrated both traditional Japanese-style design and the modern technology in the building and the room too. Good that there was free parking was provided, right outside the entrance!

This 4-star homestay offers a lift and luggage storage space. The property is 2 km from the city centre and 1.3 km from Sanjusangen-do Temple. Kevin as a host was the highlight of this hotel. The rooms were great, clean and new-looking. The location was perfect for evening walks and generally just getting around. Overall, this hotel made our stay in Kyoto as amazing as we could have hoped for.
