The bed and pillows were comfy. We stayed in the room next to the entrance but didnt have any problem with sounds from outside so the room is very soundproof. The room equipped with everything! Hand soap, shower cream, shampoo and conditioner! We are very satisfied with the room and what it offered. The staff was so kind helping us bringing our luggages to the room and help us keeping our luggages overnights till our next stay! Internet works fine! Smart TV in the room is a ++++! Will definitely stay again!

Comfortable Accommodations: Onsen Guest House Tsutaya in Hakone offers comfortable rooms with private bathrooms, air conditioning, and mountain views. Only some rooms include a balcony, tatami floors, and free toiletries. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Rarely anybody is in the onsen when you want to go so you get the whole place to yourself. It's pretty close to bus stops so if you want to travel to the Hakone cable car it's doable (same with open air museum).

The Irori dinner (absolutely do book this!) was a fun experience and we enjoyed meeting other travellers. The staff were very helpful and accommodating during our stay. Our cozy little attic bedroom was clean and very comfy to sleep in despite the cold autumn weather <3 The shared facilities were clean and the common area nice and lively!

We stayed in the Japanese-style quadruple room and was very spacious for us 2! The decor is beautiful and the futon beds are actually incredible! I slept way better than anticipated. There’re amazing restaurants nearby, location is in this cosy neighbourhood - not a place I’d have thought we’d enjoy spend our evenings instead of the most hyped and touristy areas! A big mention goes to the lovely staff member at the front desk (I’m so sorry I forgot your name!). He took the time to write suggestions of places to eat around the area and for the remaining of our time in Tokyo! He was the sweetest person, super helpful. He’s in his early 20s, so if this you, thank you so much!!

Kusatsu Onsen Eidaya is located in Kusatsu. The property is a 10-minute walk from Kusatsu Yubatake and Kusatsu-Onsen Bus Terminal. Guests can find a private hot spring bath and Japanese restaurant on site. Amazing stay at this ryokan fully furnished , there was an amazing onsen in the room and 3 other onsens to use in the ryokan. The people working here are really welcoming and helpful ! Few things to know : the onsen water keeps flowing during the night which can disturb a little bit the sleep + there is a hill to go to the village but it is managable. Highly recommend for a great time in Kusatsu
