The host warmed up the house before we arrived, prepared everything we may need and the massage chair is so far the best I've tried, especially after skiing and snowboarding!

I feel so lucky to have found this place! It’s honestly the most spacious accommodation I’ve stayed in during my trip to Japan. Each floor (both the first and second) has its own bathroom and toilet, which made the stay super comfortable. The location is unbeatable — just steps away from Otaru Canal, dessert shops, sushi street, glass studios, and the music box museum — yet the house itself is tucked inside a quiet residential lane, so it’s peaceful and relaxing. The house also has a small kitchen. It’s not big and is shared with guests from another unit, but it’s fully equipped and very convenient. We sometimes made our own breakfast or heated up food we bought outside — everything worked perfectly. Each room has its own refrigerator, so that’s private, and only the stove is shared, which actually feels safer and more hygienic. I stayed here for three nights, slept incredibly well every night, and it really helped me adjust my jet lag. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Otaru!

The host was so generous and cooked me a lovely meal taking into account my dietary needs, also very kind in helping me find places in the area and what was safe for hiking at the time I was there. Couldn’t have been more helpful. Sauna was also a total treat. I wanted to stay longer !
