Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! Room was massive for one person. Fantastic view of the pagoda (but the main tori gate was not visible). Location is located slightly uphill but still close to the main shopping street and the shrine. The room shares the bathroom and shower with everyone else, but has its own sink so it's more convenient. The shared bathrooms were clean, and there's a shared bath that people can reserve.

Only a 5-minute drive from Miyajima Ferry Port with its free shuttle, beautiful ocean views can be enjoyed from Miyajima Seaside Hotel. Staying in a 100+ year old traditional Japanese home was an amazing experience, and the fact that we had the whole house to yourself made it even better. In addition, the host was so kind and helpful and really went out of his way to make our stay memorable. He gave us great recommendations for dinner and helped us make reservations. The room was very spacious, the beds were very comfortable, and every amenity you could possible need was provided.

By far the most comfortable bed and pillows we experienced on our Japan trip. The apartment had everything that we needed and was very conveniently located.

We actually kinda booked this apartment by accident, but we absolutely love the room. Everything is clean, spacious and just like the pictures. The ammenities provided were really complete, and loved the comfortable bed & pillows. Good communication and clear instructions from the host as well. Definitely recommended!

It is set 700 metres from Atomic Bomb Dome and offers a lift. The aparthotel features family rooms and facilities for disabled guests. The room is furnished with well maintained and modern furniture and appliances. The washing machine was a huge plus and laundry detergent was even provided! Kitchenette had everything I needed, microwave, refrigerator with separate freezer, plates, cups, utensils, comfortable bed and a very nice night shirt! Better than the ones at Daiwa Roynet Hotels. Great location and fair price. Out of the three hotels I've stayed at in Japan this was the most spacious and best amenities. Fair price too! Check in procedure was actually very efficient and went smoothly. The lockable luggage station was great. No problem with the hotel being unstaffed. This hotel is run very well!
