Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). It has a beautiful Japanese garden and a large living room, creating a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Our friendly mascot cat will welcome you! Very welcoming staff and overall nice atmosphere in a beautiful house. The dorm room was spacious. Inclusion of curry for dinner and simple breakfast are a great plus for the price. The location is perfect, close to the floating Tori gate. I didn't use any of the onsen but it's nice they provide this facility.

They demonstrated extreme availability and sensitivity to our needs, ensuring every aspect of our visit was handled with grace and efficiency. ​It is rare to find a place where the setting, the structure, and the service align so perfectly. We wholeheartedly recommend and we look forward to return soon.

Jukeiso features Japanese-style rooms overlooking the majestic entrance gate (Torii) of Itsukushima-jinja Shrine, only a 5-minute walk from the Unesco World Heritage Site itself. The hotel offers public and private hot baths and a free shuttle to/from Miyajima Ferry Terminal. Free Wi-Fi is provided at the lobby. The room is very clean, the staff is extremely helpful. I left my JR ticket in the room and the staff is very accommodative. A highly recommended place to stay during vacation.
