We were extremely happy about our stay . Very spacious room, comfortable beds . The common spaces are very spacious and cozy. The location is great to walk to the center.

Very cozy, not crowded , very nice lake view even though could not see Mt. fuji from the room. Very close to the ropeway and port of ferry. Not far from Kawakushi-go station .Excellent food during teatime and lite dinner.

The hospitality of the staff was exceptional—truly on another level. We thoroughly enjoyed the kaiseki dinner and breakfast, both of which were outstanding. If you’re considering staying here, don’t hesitate—it’s worth every yen. I had my first onsen experience here and it unforgettable (in the best way possible). While it’s technically public, the hotel has only 13 rooms, making it feel almost semi-private. I had mine at 6 AM and had the whole place to myself! 😉 P.S. Free shuttle bus to and from Kawaguchiko Sta.

Just 250 metres from Zenko-ji Temple, Matsuya Ryokan offers simple Japanese rooms with tatami-mat floors, a green-tea maker and an attached Western bathroom. The hotel features public baths. The room was very nice, super cosy and quiet. The futons were exquisite. The people working on the Ryokan were adorable. I honestly have nothing bad to say about our stay here. Also, the location is just perfect. To be that close to Zenkōji temple, especially at night when the street is empty... Best time I've had so far !
