They were eager to share their knowledge of Japanese culture, especially unique aspects of life in Tako-machi. The ryokan itself is cozy and makes you feel at home. It was clean, comfortable, and full of character. We would come back to this ryokan for the owners alone, but the town also has its charm - letting us experience authentic japanese everyday life on the country side. The room was beautiful, the location was terrific. I didn't know what to expect, but the stay went beyond my expectations. The Temple across the street was amazing too.

And it was the best house made us feel like a home but much more relaxing during our 5 night stay. All the information about the house were given in the guide booklet in English with detailed pictures throughout message before check-in. We used the Lawson google map address which was close by and it’s quite accurate. There is one Tatami room in downstairs and two bedrooms in upstairs with air conditioners(exuding host private room) and also two toilets. The space was just perfect for 6 of us including 4 kids. Kitchen had everything we needed. It was so well equipped and so comfortable.  The beds were comfortable, the air conditioning was efficient, the bath tub was clean and convenient, the linen, towels etc were good quality. The kitchen equipment is also very complete and this was the property had several nonstick pots. Kids enjoyed watching Netflix on the big screen TV. The location was fantastic, offering easy access to nearby convenient stores, attractions (Hasunuma Sea Side Park, Hasunuma Water Garden, Chiba Forest Adventure) and also Halal restaurants (Mufa Halal Restaurant ) Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend. I will certainly come back with my family.
