If you want some magic - this is that unique place! After Petra I decided to please myself and find a nice place for a night, but it overcame my expectations! Since I arrived I was treated like a very appreciated guest, delicious food and generous portions, just next to the fireplace creates a very warming atmosphere. And then lights in the rocks appeared, I was impressed. Also very good people work there, who helped me with early wake up and finding transport for a fair price. Thank you so much, guys!

For a one-night stop in Dana this is a perfectly good budget option. I informed the staff that I planned to leave at about 7 am, and they kindly agreed to serve breakfast earlier than usual. Actually, I was ready to leave about 6:30, and they still prepared a simple but adequate breakfast for me. Much appreciated!

I highly recommend staying here for your visit to Petra. They only have a few rooms, so they treat each of their guests like family. I highly recommend the dinner and the lunch boxes. It's about the same price or cheaper than what you find on the streets, but it is so much more convenient and peaceful. It is a short 10-minute walk from the Petra visitor center. Remember to bring JOD. They don't accept credit card, but there is an ATM by the visitor center. We have two kids under 12 and they both ate free! We wanted to start Petra at 6 AM, so they prepared our lunch boxes for us the night before so they'd be waiting for us on our way. This really helped us beat the heat and the crowds. Our family was able to hike all the way to the Treasury and the monastery before it got hot. Pro tip: If you want the dinner (which you do) you should let them know at least a couple of hours before you want it.
