Not only was the villa the most beautiful place we have stayed but equally as amazing was the manager, Salvatore and thanks to him he has a special place in our heart alongside Room Poseidon. The mother and daughter who are the housemaids make every morning worth waking up to, the amazing breakfast they prepare alongside an amazing smile! We can only describe Villa Barluzzi as ‘Dolce Vita’ which translates to the sweet life. We didn’t make friends but rather a family where we shall surprise you guys nearer the future to relive our perfect stay! Ciao Bella

I’ve traveled extensively over the years, but I can sincerely say I have never experienced hospitality quite like this. Giovanna and Gerardo welcomed us not just as guests, but as family. They were always kind, present, and incredibly helpful – whether it was sharing the best local tips, helping us plan our daily adventures, or just taking a moment to check in and chat. Their care and warmth turned our trip into something truly unforgettable. And let’s talk about the breakfast – every morning was a delightful surprise. Alongside the classics, we were treated to a new homemade cake or pastry each day, always fresh, always delicious, and always served with a smile. Staying at Residenza Amalphia felt like staying in someone’s beautiful historic home, filled with love, history, and heart. Breakfast was homemade and perfect. I cannot recommend this place enough. Bonus points: it is located in the incredibly cute town so visiting downtown is a must 🙂
